I have a series of ebooks on marketing. These are written for Opticians in the UK.
I am launching these in the US so I need a natural US English speaker to 'American-ize' for me.
EG: There are references to UK businesses that need changing to similar US businesses, eg 'easyJet', the UK budget airline, needs to change to 'JetBlue'.
'Specsavers', a big UK franchise operation, needs to change to 'Lenscrafters'. (I believe!)
There are references such as 'High Street shop' that needs to change to 'Main Street shop' or maybe 'Mall'. I need advising on some of the finer points of US culture!
Need to change UK pounds '¬£' to US '$'.
I believe what we call 'flyers' are called something else in the US - leaflets, maybe?
There are the obvious spelling differences too, but that's just spellcheck.
Some research may be required in order to allow an American reader to understand references to sections of storyline, but that's not a big part.
