I currently have a database with approximately 1.5 million sets of data, in both MSSQL and MySql format at present. This data consists of numbers, 1 through 10, and each 'set' has between approximately 6-14 vertical rows, and approximately 45 horizontal rows, which means each data set will have roughly between 270 and 630 bits of data, i.e. 1 through 10 values (6x45 = 270, 14 x 45 = 630).
Additionally, I have a 'score chart' of sorts, signifying how many 'points' each 1 through 10 match or mismatch is worth, when comparing two of these data sets to one another. This score chart was created to allow for the free comparison of any data set, to any other data set, to determine overall similarity. The higher the score, the higher the similarity.
The purpose of this task is to make use of this score chart to retrieve the most-similar (i.e., highest scoring) 100 records within the entire database, in relation to any one single record being looked at. Meaning, I want to be able to pull ...
