I need legal help with the set-up procedures for an unusual business model.
The business model is for a company called "Dull Drums". On the surface, the function of the company will be to find and refurbish old, broken, unusable drums, making them into unique, handmade, functional furniture for a music-room, man-cave, etc. I currently manage one company and from what I've learned, that idea, on its own, could be an LLC, but there is another aspect of the business model which may effect that decision.
The 'second layer' of this model is based on my location in Washington, DC. In DC, there is a large and growing homeless population, much of which is made up of military veterans. Unfortunately, in some cases, these men and women have been 'off the grid' for so long that they no longer have any sort of paper work or identification.
