I am in need of a specific court case ruling in a certain way regarding the writing of a settlement agreement by an attorney on either side. I need to see something specific in terms of a condition that an attorney cannot create. I need this to hold up in a US Federal Court as a reference.
Specifically, I need a situation where an attorney created a self-serving or potentially self-serving result in a settlement agreement. For example, if a settlement agreement is defaulted then the attorney automatically gets paid a certain amount of money.
I need an example where this sort of "automatic entitlement" is not allowed. So, an attorney creating such a settlement agreement cannot put themselves in a position to benefit due to conditions they may or may not control in a settlement agreement.
I will communicate more specifics with those bidding and as needed.
I need this completed no later than January 4th.
