Virtual Assistant - Experienced Pro Job Description: :) Experienced,Professional Virtual Assistant (emphasis on Experienced and Professional) to help manage a variety of basic tasks. Busy national marketing director needs another two arms ;) I am currently executing a couple of night projects in addition to a full-time job. Your responsibilities: - Proofing of my documents - Data analysis/entry into Excel, Word or other programs - Recommendations on what research I may need - Research using the Internet or other information databases - we will outsource offshore - Limited Outbound calls (not cold calls) - would be just relaying info...Ie..."He will be there 1:30pm" - Limited Travel planning and coordination - Email management - Vendor management (researchers, etc.) - Editing job descriptions - Posting of job ads - Posting or resume to job boards for client - Other miscellaneous tasks that can be performed online - Must be accessible, online and on Elance Work View during agreed-upon office hours (however, most projects will be flexible...ie...why you need to be self-starter) - No cold calling - You will work on a variety of projects so you don't mind jumping around a little bit :) Your qualifications: - Previous experience as an administrative assistant - Smart - Broadband Internet connection / phone - Strong understanding of Internet and online communication tools - Ability to multitask and take on multiple projects - Ability to meet deadlines - Strong communications skills and attention to detail a must - Understanding of the marketing world would be a must - A complete Elance profile (please see ours...we've been here 12 years) - References or an established reputation on Elance preferred - Wordpress updating would be a plus - English as first language Character traits: - You go the "extra mile" - You understand discretion and confidentiality - You truly love what you do - You can quickly understand what needs to be done and you take independent action. - You are fair in billing (we've paid for 4X the hours we've received in the past - Sadly, not all Elancers understand our code of conduct in the Elance community) - You want to work in a collaborative environment with people appreciate your unique talents. Location: U.S. based (doesn't matter where) Please submit a quick 4-5 sentence paragraph about you if the above resonated with you and your talents. Initial bid for 3-4 weeks. If all goes well, This a long-term position. I will be flying so there may be a delay of 1 day replying to any messages. (Also, don't be shy to ask for clarification on any of the above).
