Established tech news website seeks long term relationship with Linux administration guru + PERL programmer that is proficient in:
a) CentOS / Redhat environment
b) Permissions and restricting access rights (chmod, chgrp, chown, groupadd, gpasswd, usermod, visudo, symbolic links, etc). This is a MUST.
c) Setting up scripts to run at boot time + crontab
d) A medium-to-very good understanding of BASH scripting
e) PERL object oriented programming and the use of CPAN modules, including: implementation / resolving dependencies, etc.
You will work alongside a PERL programmer (myself). I own the site and have been in business for over 10 years. I don't have a strong side in Linux administration (especially permissions and work-arounds), but once I know how, I am good to go.
