On linux it is possible to force a forward proxy server to be used by all browsers on the LAN without applying tweaks to each browser with e.g
iptables -A PREROUTING -t nat -s 192.168.0.0/24 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to 8080
sometimes known as a transparent proxy. I need to be able to do something similar on Windows. This may be possible with 3proxy or netsh on Windows, but I don't have the networking skills to understand how to achieve a transparent proxy. You can use whichever tools are available on Windows 7 upwards - provided they are freely available or open source.
The end result should work on one standalone Windows 7 machine - and I will need to be able to reproduce it at my end. Please let me know if you need any clarification.
