I have an installation of Windows Server 2012 installed on Amazon EC2.
I'm new to Windows Servers and am trying to set it up to host our domains.
What I've done so far:
Installed Windows Server 2012
Promoted the Server to Domain Manager
Added a forest
Added a domain to the forest
Used IIS to setup 1 of the sites (with a blank index.html file in the directory)
I'm not sure if the IP of the server or the IP that IIS gives me for the domain is where I need to point it.
I can give access to the server, but not to the registrar for the domain (GoDaddy). Tell me where to point the domain and I'll do it, I just need the server configured correctly.

Additionally, I should mention that whatever your solution is, you should keep in mind that GoDaddy is still providing email services to us for one of the domains that this server needs to host.
