I am developing a small electric means of personal transportation. I need to turn a sensorless, brushless motor on and off with a single, momentary (push and hold = on, release=off) button on a wireless controller. My prototypes run on off the shelf components: wireless relay, RC servo tester, and a 20A RC ESC. I need a cohesive control solution for my demos and initial production run.
The motor runs on a 12V battery with internal battery management system, and is wound for a no load speed of 1400RPM at 12V. Constant current required for the motor driver is 20 A, burst current capacity needed is 30A for approx 10 sec. I would like the rf reciever, motor driver, and microcontroller integrated into one small PCB. I mention the microcrontroller for two reasons:
