We've designed and had another contractor integrate the site found below in Wordpress. Part of what our current problem is (according to other contractor) that the "old" Drupal site (which shall remain live and maintain all URL's except for "home page" for SEO purposes) was set up in the root. His explanation is below and somewhat Chinese to me, but if you needed access to the FTP or either of the WP or Drupal admins, I have all this info on hand.
Here is what I'm trying to have done:
So, currently, all of the pages on the [obscured] /wp/ contain the "wp" which stands for "Wordpress" obviously.
The client would like to maintain all of the URL's except remove this "wp".
Existing URL is: [obscured] /wp/apply/
Should be: [obscured] /apply/
Same for the homepage.
Currently, when a user punches in [obscured] , they are redirected to [obscured] /wp/. The client does not want this. It should be only [obscured]
