We are a growing independent coffee shop and café in the UK looking to streamline our accounts and admin processes. We feel outsourcing these functions would work well as it will help us achieve more real time reporting.
The initial important role is book keeping using Xero. Once this is up and running and working efficiently, there will be many other VA tasks needing doing (including payroll processing, sales & KPI reporting, stock take results processing, etc)
As a general overview:
Book Keeping (PHASE 1)
• All sales transactions are recorded using a cloud based EPOS system. Csv files can be exported from the EPOS and imported into Xero.
• A small number of sales invoices will need generating for events (low volume, 1 a week max)
• Payments for sales are made by cash, credit card and online payment app called dropletpay
• Accounts to be reconciled are: bank current account, company credit card account, paypal account.
