Server support service
The server support includes following parts:
1. 24x7x365 monitoring and troubleshooting. We use two separate monitoring systems to watch the supported servers. The systems send us alerts by Email and SMS in case of issues. Once we receive the alert we react and start the work on the problem elimination. Our monitoring watches the servers' state and main services (such as www, databases, mail, FTP, SSH), disks, and sites' state. We can customize the monitoring according to client's needs.
2. Email-SMS alerts. If we receive email message from our clients at night our email system is configured to send us SMS messages. So we monitor all incoming client's messages 24x7.
3. Regular server checks and adjustments. Our team implements monthlyserver and logs checks eliminating all probable issues that can appear in future.
4. Security checks and server updates. We make monthly security scans, sever updates and patches.
5. Backup service. Our backup system implements two types of backups full backups (weekly) and incremental backups (daily). We store backups locally and on our remote backup server.
6. Implementation of any others server tasks on your demand. This can be installation and configuration of software, system design, consulting or common server management tasks such as FTP, mail users creation.
7. Availability: our usual work time is Mon-Fri from 2 am till 4 pm (EST) in case of urgent problems we are available 24x7 and our reaction is usually 5-20 mins dependently on daytime. We use email, phone and a set of messengers (Gtalk, Skype, MSN, ICQ) for contacting.
The support of one server costs $200 per month and we include 4 hours for the on-demand tasks implementation for each supported server. If we implement tasks beyond included hours they are charged with the rate $25 .
