I am an architecture student in my senior year at a school in the Bay Area (California). I love to design, read about architecture, travel to visit and experience new places, and creative writing. I am looking to sharpen my skills with software that I use at school. I also love to learn about different cultures (I am a Chinese who was raised in Latin America).
I am also a researcher, a translator, and a transcriber on the side. I have a lot of experience in these three areas because I have helped my professors and writers with their work, whether it is researching or transcribing interviews.
I am diligent, hard working, and mature. I will deliver projects by the due date and they will be of excellent quality. Furthermore, I look forward to help you or your company succeed and be more efficient. Maybe we can continue to work together in the future. Networking is key to success.

My lifelong passion for words began in childhood, when I competed twice in the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee. I wrote a column for my high school newspaper and studied Spanish and Portuguese at Stanford University. I then spent 13 years in the staffing industry, where I specialized in editing and customizing candidate resumes to target a wide range of positions, including Data Analytics, Executive Support, Dental Assisting, and Corporate Sales. I also wrote copy for print advertising, marketing materials, and training documents. During this period, I was hired to edit three book manuscripts: a novel, a memoir, and a practitioner's guide to a new psychotherapy tool--all of which were published. Later I worked at a major university, editing proposals and proofreading instructional materials.
Since July 2013 I have worked primarily as an independent writer, editor and proofreader of articles, training documents, white papers, newsletters and web site content.
