I have been hired by various small business within the local area for website programming and design as well as computer security and custom antivirus. I've always loved writing code, and frequently do so even when I'm not at work.
I taught myself PHP in 8th grade and kept programming all through high school. It's not all I do though - I was senior editor for the high school paper, I surfed, I played lacrosse. I never found anything I loved more than programming.
I majored in CS at The George Washington University. I wasn't a huge fan of writing one-use experimental programs that usually weren't production quality. I always wanted to write full-featured, high-end, beautiful code that did great things.
Now that I'm done with college, I can finally do that. No matter what I'll still be building a quadcopter on the weekend, or working on the robotic arm I made, or maybe just reading some great sci-fi.
But hey, when it's not the weekend, maybe I could writing incredible code for you instead.
