16/09/2013 Office Admin and Excel Chart creation from pdf data
What I need or require:
i need the information taken from a pdf document and then put into an excel spreadsheet. the data from the pdf will need to be structured in the spreadsheet to that it can display charts and or spider graphs so that it shows differences in the data.
The type of information im trying to get out of the data is as follows:
- Exams by country/Region
- Amount of exams in each country/region
- Highest to lowest ranked exams IE most taken versus least taken
- Exams by month/ quarter/ year
- Pass rate by exam and country per month/quarter/year
- Break down of foundation versus each intermediate for all of the above
For example, in the first page of the PDF ITIL Marketing Numbers with pass rates version 1.1 - Live- December 2012 there is ITIL intermediate by product, ITIL Foundation by region and ITIL Intermediate by region for the month of January 2012
This is the same for almost every month. This format does not allow me to understand what is the most popular overall, what market is growing by sector, or decreasing and many other pieces of information.
You choose which you think best represents or displays the information, which clearly shows the breakdown of each topic, region etc.
There many be some more resports id like to know, but im not 100% sure what else i need until i start to see the stats from the data collated. You can use multiple sheets in a single document, so please use as many as possible to show the reports i have requested.
