Elance on the Road: Web 2.0 Expo in San FranciscoElance_Alex | Apr 16, 2010
After a trip to Austin and New York City for SXSW and the Small Biz Tech Summit, we here at Elance HQ are gearing up for Web 2.0 Expo taking place at Moscone Center in San Francisco on May 3-6, 2010. With over 10,000 attendees expected this year, the conference focuses on embracing and extending the opportunities created by Web 2.0 technologies. We'll be in the building and on the scene in several ways.
First, our VP of Marketing Ellen Pack will be a judge for the Launch Pad event, which looks to surface the best and brightest companies or products that will really turn heads in today's world. The Launch Pad event will take place at Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco on Wednesday, May 5 at 1:15-2:15 pm – if you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and see if these companies have what it takes to make it big.
Secondly, we’ll be on the scene in the main trade show area with a booth and representatives from the team (including myself). If you have any questions or feedback about Elance, our features, or you just want to say hello, we'll be in Pod 8 in the Long Tail Pavilion. Be sure to stop by and give us a holler.
Finally, if you aren’t registered yet for the expo, don’t fret. We’ve got a few expo passes that we’re giving away to elancers that that are looking to attend this year’s conference. If you’re interested, simply shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and he’ll get you set up. Act fast as quantities are limited!
We look forward to seeing you!
