Daniel Barrett
Vice President, Sales

Daniel leads the sales organization at Elance-oDesk, driving the company's expansion in the mid-size and enterprise markets, having previously held senior sales leadership roles at Linkedin and Google, both in the US and internationally. An expat for most of his life, Daniel is passionate about creating a workplace for the world, unlocking economic opportunity at scale for millions of freelancers worldwide.

Daniel holds a Bachelor in Economic Sciences from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles and a BBA in Business Administration from the International Management Institute of Brussels, Belgium.

Jaleh Bisharat
Senior Vice President, Marketing

Jaleh brings more than twenty years of technology marketing experience to Elance-oDesk. Previously, she acted as Vice President of Marketing at companies including OpenTable, Jawbone, and She also served on the board of directors at OpenTable and Homestead Technologies. Jaleh writes and speaks frequently about women in the workplace and the future of work, and is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post.

Jaleh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Government from Harvard and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Matt Cooper
Vice President, Enterprise Services

Matt has more than a decade of executive operating experience in both startups and Fortune 500 companies. A former member of the executive team at Accolo, Inc., a recruiting services and technology firm, he grew the business from one employee into one of the top 50 companies on the Inc 500 list. He also co-founded a boutique strategic consulting firm for ramping early-stage companies, and started his career in investment banking at JPMorgan Securities. Matt puts his finance, operations and strategy expertise to work in driving Elance-oDesk’s Enterprise market growth.

Matt holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

Jonathan Diller
Vice President, Enterprise Solutions

Jonathan leads the Elance-oDesk enterprise solutions team, enabling workforce innovation for medium and large businesses. Previously, Jonathan held management positions at BlueStar Solutions and Arthur Andersen, where he was responsible for developing and deploying Ariba solutions. Since joining the team, Jonathan has become a talent supply management expert, and was instrumental in the development of our first generation Services Procurement and Management platform now owned by IBM.

Jonathan holds an MBA, MIS and BS in Biology from the University of Arizona.

Stephane Kasriel
Senior Vice President, Product and Engineering

Stephane has more than 15 years of high-tech engineering, product and general management experience, including leadership roles at pioneering companies such as Fireclick, Zong, Work4, and PayPal. Defining and leading PayPal’s consumer strategy, Stephane achieved unprecedented growth for the company. He also helped guide Zong in their ascent and eventual acquisition by PayPal, and most recently worked as the COO of the social media recruiting platform Work4.

Stephane holds a Bachelor Degree from Ecole Polytechnique (France), a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Brian Levey
Senior Vice President and General Counsel

With more than 20 years of legal and business experience, Brian oversees Elance-oDesk's legal, corporate and governmental affairs functions. Prior to joining us, Brian served in a global legal leadership role at eBay Inc. for over 13 years, where he began as eBay's first corporate attorney and most recently served as its Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Secretary. Before joining eBay, Brian acted as Vice President, Legal with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. and as a corporate associate at Latham & Watkins.

Brian holds a law degree from Stanford Law School, where he was an Associate Editor of the Stanford Law Review, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics, with honors and distinction, from Stanford University.

Kjetil J. Olsen
Vice President, International

As Vice President of International, Kjetil has the strategic and operational responsibility for growing the Elance-oDesk footprint throughout international markets. Prior to joining us, Kjetil held the position Group Director M&A and New Business at StepStone, Europe’s largest job board. Kjetil joined StepStone from the acquisition of Scandinavian e-recruitment platform EasyCruit, a company he founded and one of Europe’s leading e-recruitment platforms.

Kjetil holds an MSc in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School (Handelshøyskolen BI).

Rich Pearson
Senior Vice President, Categories and Geographies

Rich leads the category management, business development and International teams at Elance-oDesk. Prior to joining Elance-oDesk, he led marketing and business development at Posterous through its acquisition by Twitter, and previously held senior marketing positions at Yahoo!, Attributor, Homestead, Segasoft, and Del Monte Foods.

Rich holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business and a BS in Marketing and Finance from UC Berkeley.

Fabio Rosati
Chief Executive Officer

Originally from Florence, Italy, Fabio relocated to the US to attend Georgetown University and begin his business career. He joined Gemini Consulting in its early days and stayed with the company until it became part of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Fabio was a part of Elance’s earliest days, joining the company in 2001. With two technology startups under his belt and a 10 year consulting career in strategy and operations, Fabio is an online labor and work marketplace thought leader. His views have appeared in publications including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, on TV and radio shows including NPR, Bloomberg TV, ABC News, CNBC, Fox, and the BBC, and on stage at events including The Economist Human Potential, World Economic Forum, and Staffing Industry Association conferences.

He will continue to lead the vision, strategy, and operations of the newly merged Elance-oDesk.

Servaes Tholen
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Servaes leads the Finance, People, and Analytics teams at Elance-oDesk. He joins us from eBay, the world’s largest online marketplace, where he spent over seven years in various financial and analytical roles in Europe and the US, most recently as CFO of eBay North America. Prior to eBay, Servaes worked in the Netherlands managing a Charity Lottery, and spent seven years at McKinsey & Company as strategy consultant.

Servaes holds an MSc in Applied Physics from the Delft University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.

Odysseas Tsatalos
Vice President, Labs and Co-founder

Odysseas has more than a decade of experience designing and managing research and development operations for Internet-based applications. He co-founded Intacct Corporation and, as CTO, oversaw the development of all phases of the Intacct web-based enterprise accounting system. He was also CTO and co-founder of BroadQuest Inc., where he led the transformation from an enterprise software freelancer into a B2B infrastructure enabler. Previously, Odysseas was a research staff member at the IBM Almaden Research Center.

Odysseas received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a diploma in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the National Technical University in Athens, Greece.

Elizabeth Tse
Senior Vice President, Operations

Elizabeth is responsible for Trust & Safety, Customer Success, Global Payments, and Customer Support at Elance-oDesk. Prior to joining us, Elizabeth was the Chief Operating Officer for Samasource, a non-profit that provides online work to women and youth in Africa and South Asia. Previously Elizabeth was VP of Global Billing, Payments and Collections at eBay and held senior positions at Zuora and Providian Financial (now JP Morgan Chase).

Elizabeth holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Psychology from Yale University.
