I have an excel sheet with around 500 rows of data that needs to be cleansed. There are only two columns that I need fixed. They both contain post-code data. The problem is that the postcodes have been entered incorrectly. The postcode SHOULD be in this format: AA1, AA2, AA3, AA4. However the postcodes have ACTUALLY been written like this: "AA1-4". There are sometimes multiple examples of this within one cell (for example, the cell may read: "AA1-4, 7, AA8-9, 13, 15-18" etc.) I need all the postcodes in the same format. The example above SHOULD read like this "AA1, AA2, AA3, AA4, AA7, AA8, AA9, AA13, AA15, AA16, AA17, AA18" There are approximately 1000 cells worth of data (2 columns, 500 rows). It is very important that the postcodes stay on the same 'row' as the initial information.
