I have a client's manuscript that is simply a scanned version of a personal memoir he wrote. I need it retyped in MS Word so that it can be properly edited and formatted for print production. It is approximately 18,000 to 21,000 words (I'm just estimating). I actually want the thing retyped. I don't want it put through some sort of OCR software that will make it a nightmare for someone to edit because of hidden formatting issues these programs create. If that's your plan, please do not bid. I'm attaching a sample of the manuscript.

Hello, I'm looking for someone to clean-up a Word document (.docx format). The document was created by saving a PDF file as a Word file in Adobe Acrobat. What has to be done is to compare the Word version to the PDF version and change the Word version to be identical to the PDF version. If you've done this before, you're familiar with the types of things that need to be done. Basically, it's things like deleting extra spaces, fixing some misspellings, adding or taking out an extra character here and there, adding an underline here and there, etc. Some re-typing will likely be necessary but probably very little...it's mostly cleanup. Unlike a copy/paste situation, there aren't a lot of paragraphs that only extend part of the line, so there is very little of that. The PDF document is 35 pages but 5 have been completed, so 30 pages are left to do. There's a lot of words on each page (about 27,100 words on those 30 PDF pages) but they don't need to be re-typed...it's just a mat...
