Our company is young start-up based in Los Angeles, CA that manufacturers and sells lacrosse mesh, strings and shooters. We are currently in the process of a rebrand that will extend across everything-web, packaging, print, etc. We have designed out new logotype and identified out brand fonts and the general visual direction in which we want to take everything but we need help with our mark. Our old mark was a a diamond that was representative of the diamond shape found in lacrosse mesh and the two crosses representative of the strings. The issue with that mark was that it was weak at a small scale. The obvious solution was to inverse the diamond and make it solid which we have done and like. We would love to see what other solutions or new ideas someone might be able to come up with and to also see how someone would refine what we currently have. Ideally we would like to see whoever works on this project spend 1/3 of their time refining what we have and the other 1/3 exploring vari...

We are seeking an experienced designer to create a logo (eventually more) for the rebranding of of our online sports news company. We are the country's leading producer of small school sports news, with over 7k individual team pages. We have limited direct competition, but it's safe to say as we grow our competition will eventually include: ESPN, SB Nation, Fansided, and Bleacher Report. We are changing our company name/site from BennettRank to Sports Brew. We like the idea of referring to ourselves simply as The Brew. Our tagline will likely be, "Sports News & Information". We are a one-stop shop for ALL college sports news. The concept of brew stemmed from the idea that people talk about sports over various brews: coffee in the morning and beer in the evening. It can also be interpreted to illustrated our approach to providing news - taking various ingredients (news, social, video) and creating a tasty concoction. The Cajun Cookers have a long and storied history of excellent BBQ. From the bayou's of Louisiana, United States, our founder's father started out with a Cajun pork seasoning in the early 1900s. Decades later, Darrell "Big Un" Hicks (a former standout for the LSU Tigers football team) perfected his father's recipe and formed the Cajun Cookers BBQ Team. Starting in small, regional competitions. The Cajun Cookers eventually achieved the ultimate goal in BBQ competition, the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ title. The success of the competition led to a career of successful restaurants and catering businesses. With the business came logos featuring the Cajun Cooker mascot, "Big Un" the alligator. Although an outstanding logo, it's time to modernize for the next generation. The ultimate goal is to overhaul the design to a more modern feel, without completely abandoning the heritage of "Big Un" and the Cajun Cookers. Attached are several designs, inc...
