This projectrequires analytical models and numerical calculations using finite element models developed by ABAQUS to study the behavior of masonry walls reinforced with Carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP), Aramid fiber reinforced polymers (AFRP) , and Glass fiber reinforced polymers (GFRP) subject to in-plane loading up to the ultimate state. The following cases will be investigated: 1) Unstrengthened masonry wall 2) Masonry wall strengthened with CFRP horizontal grid laminate 3) Masonry wall strengthened with GFRP horizontal grid laminate 4) Masonry wall strengthened with AFRP horizontal grid laminate Vertical and diagonal grid laminates with each FRP will also be analyzed separately. Different load cases will be used. Output will consist of stresses for each FRP type, grip pattern and load case in color from latest ABAQUS software version. Hello, I am looking to build a large scale chromatography unit to purify the compounds we are using. I am looking for someone who can program and automate that system. From my understanding, we will need to control the flow rates of 2 chemicals into the system, use a UV detector to detect the wavelength of the liquid coming out of the column and a fraction collector that can collect large amounts of liquid. I have an ad on elance currently for a scientist who can design the specifications for this machine and once he provides me with those details, it will be your job to automate and program the system to run at our specifications. My ultimate goal is to be able to control this from a tablet remotely and program it so it is designed to extract the exact compounds we are looking for. If you have access to existing chromatography software and you can adapt that software for this project, I am also open to that.
