My Research topic is:Two dimensional modelling of sand production, using Finite volume to solve the governing equation and then use C++ to program.A C++ Visual code would be used to solve a 2Dimensional Navier stoke's equation in order to predict the critical drawdown pressure. I have been able to obtain the governing equation and discretise using finite volume.I have been given a C++ Visual code of 2D Full Navier stokes equation comprising of the Energy equation,Momentum and Pressure Equation which i have to solve for a flow in a pipe and obtain the Temperature,U and V velocity, temperature distribution and then the pressure distribution in the pipe. I wish to check the functionality of the code by making it obtain the required result with the various boundary conditions imposed(Top and Bottom -Insulated, Left-Dirichlet, Right-Convective).After solving the Navier stoke's equation for the above problem , i would also need to incorporate the code to determine the critical drawdown press...

Parametric analysis of Solidworks flow simulation are to be carried-out using flow simulation API, the main idea is to edit already generated codes in VB 6.0 into VB.net or C++ (prefeably C++) , a plugin in terms of fluid codes (using codes already generated in C++ for navier-stokes momentum equation) should be embedded into the solidworks flow simulation environment), the VB 6 codes are able to do the following: 1. Change different impeller types used for the study 2. vary fluid height in the mixing vessel 3. Varying impeller rotational speed 4. Vary impeller distance from the bottom of the mixing vessel The plugin codes are written in C++, and its untended to be introduced into the mixing vessel as an external fluid and different results ar intended to be generated from the simulation that would determine which impeller gives better homogeneity and at what impeller distance this should be achieved. Seeking design assistance and short run manufacture/assembly of a simple levered vertical press, similar to a "rabbit" corkscrew design, with modifications. This is for a new type of corkscrew. As well as the bottle top grippers, there will be either be dual pins, as seen in the pictures of the rabbit I modified, or some other bracket/clamp for another assembly on the top - details to be determined later. You can use the dual rabbit grip handles as the press will involve gripping a wine bottle neck, but the stroke needs to be longer than that system - about 3 1/2" vs. the rabbit's 2" stroke, so the whole rack/pinion section needs to be larger. Another change vs. the standard rabbit is that the vertical press needs to be very stable (the rabbit's wobbles around and has some side-side play). A similar sized lever handle to what comes on the rabbit can be used, as long as it allows for the 3 1/4" vertical stroke. If you have a better idea for the process ...
