This will be a taxi security cam. It will take photos at certain intervals, store them temporary in the SD and push them to internet to be accessed afterwards. To simplify the schematics, the camera clock should be provided by arduino. I would like to use the OV7670 non-serial camera as it could be found relatively easy in Argentina. And arduino mini or micro. If possible. There are some examples of this camera with arduino on the internet Thanks

Route attached Eagle board to match layout of attached PDF. The schematic should be complete, all desired component models are included in board file. Top DXF of the board is attached, and all parts are dimensioned on the attached PDF. - The GND and 12V lines to the motors (DYN icons) should be large enough to handle 2-3 amps - The GND/3.3V lines to the 28-pin J1 connector should be large enough to handle an amp - Space for wiring on the board may be tight. In the attached Sketch image there is a layout of how we imagined the wiring might work, but when trying to do that actual routing that planned layout may not work out. We can discuss how to slightly reshape the board to get more space if necessary Please inquire as to any questions! Desired turn-around is two to three days

Good afternoon, I am looking to develop an ultra lightweight, portable fully USB powered monitor system for business executives and other mobile professionals to use whilst on the move. In short, I am looking for someone to fully design and engineer a portable monitor with the following properties: 1. 10 - 14 inches in size 2. Fully USB powered (no power outlet required) 3. Minimum 720 resolution 4. Ultra lightweight (less than 1kg is a must) 5. Ultra thin (1-2cm max) 6. Free standing / in-built kick stand 7. Protective case / shell for transportation 8. USB 2.0 + compatible 9. Compatible with all modern operating systems Whilst a very brief overview, hopefully this provides you with a basic understanding as to what I am after to allow you to consider if your skill set would be appropriate for the project. By way of reference, below are a couple of links to existing competitors in this space which I am seeking to compete against. If you feel that your skill set would be appro...

We are seeking an embedded design engineer to create a microcontroller-based Bluetooth wearable device. Applicants will be asked to design and prototype a version 1.0 of the device, estimated budget for this phase is $1000. We will likely hire multiple candidates for this phase to find the best developer. The chosen developer will be asked to complete the rest of the project. If this does not make sense, let me know. The basic requirements for version 1.0 are as follows: The device shall use Bluetooth Low Energy (4.0+) protocols. The device shall connect/pair with Bluetooth LE-supported devices, such as smartphones. The device shall be watch-size. The device shall vibrate upon command from the connected smartphone. The device shall have a lithium-polymer battery charging circuit. The device shall send battery level information to the connected smartphone. More detailed requirements will be provided to the chosen candidate(s)....

Short description: In this system, each table in the restaurant gets a battery powered wireless calling device with buttons. When pressed, this calling device sends a wireless zigbee or generic 2.4GHz message that will be received by one or more of the base stations of the system, which are based on Raspberry PI A+. The master base station memorizes the call status for each transmitter so that said information can later be polled over wifi and displayed by apps run in smartphones worn by the waiters. The apps for said smartphones are developed in a separate project ? you don't have to develop them. Deliverables for this project: ? For the calling device; scematics, PCB layout, MCU firmware ? For the Raspberry base station; software (including installer script that makes the software start upon boot) All software must be delivered with source code, and all source code must be professionally written and well documented in English. Suggested milestones (open to discussion before proje...

From a given circuit schematic and choice of components already made, your tasks will be: 1. To verify the circuit components already chosen, 2. Incorporate best design practices into the schematic, 3. Convert the schematic into a PCB layout choosing relevant packaging and footprints, 4. Review and finalize the PCB design and deliver the source file as well as the Gerber files. The final board will have: 1. An AC side and a DC side with suitable isolation in between, 2. A PWM based switch mode power supply unit (the circuit will be provided to you), 3. Approximate dimensions of the PCB will be 150mm X 100mm, 4. Suitable for assembly by pick-and-place machines. It is vital that you have previous experience working with design of PCBs involving multiple voltage domains (AC and DC on same board). Deadline: 8 July 2015

Hello I'm looking for an engineer's opinion on two brands, Megger Insulation Testers comparing it against its equivalent at Megabras Insulation Testers. A comprehensive technical comparison is what I am looking for. Megger is well known and the usability has been well established, as such the other brand is not as known and i would like to have a standardized comparison sheet showing exactly the differences given the economical saving. models i am interested in MegaBras Digital Insulation Testers MD 5060x and MD 10KVx. (5kv and 10kv respectively) In Earth Meters EM4055.

Need to design an Ultrasonic motion sensor and notfyer to be installed in the wheel arches of a car. Need the design to be able to build the unit myself. This project is to avoid parking tickets my creating notification when a parking officer marks my car tyres with chalk. When the parking officer moved their hand under the wheel arch the movement will be detected and I will be notified by text, email or key fob beeper. ( Range required approx 500m and within a building) The sensor could be mounted under the wheel arches ( the 2 front) or on the body of the car above the wheel arches. Ideally the components to build the project will be less that $250 and be available from online sellers. I imagine Arduino or rasberry pi will be the best options for a controller. Ideally the unit will be battery powered so I dont have to wire it into the car. With the bulk of the unit being attached to the dash an an on off switch so I can arm the unit when I get out of the car. Ideally the plans ...

Hi, we want to use an IR sensor for a medical application (temperature between 25-45 C). We're interested only in the temperature change of the target (we're not interested in the absolute temperature itself). We would like to know whether there is any adaptation / optimization we can apply to the camera / readout circuit in order to improve its temperature difference accuracy? (compared to the usual case where the circuit is optimized to output absolute temperature, and then we derive the images, frame by frame, to obtain the change in temperature). I need you to support the solution with a reference and/or a calculation that would show the expected improvement in performance due to the optimization for temperature change (compared to the usual systems that are optimized for measuring absolute temperature). Best regards, Gil

I am developing a tiny Electronic Lock Mechanism. The design and mechanical parts are ready. I want an electical engineer to help me find the necessary components and put them together within the lock's container in the correct arrangement. Target is: To be able to command a simple 90degree rotation so that Latch can release the shackle. Components that are required: - Bluetooth chip that will receive the command, and send signal to: - a rotator/motor, both parts to work will need a: - Battery cell.
