I have an idea for something and spent some time on the littlebits.cc site and I am pretty sure it's possible and probably easy for someone with a electronics/engineering background. I want to build a device that sits between a power plug and outlet can listen for a specific set of sounds and then cut the power when criteria are met. I suppose it's similar to the clapper at a high level but the sound and logic would be different. We can discuss more logic once we get in to it. Who's interested in making this? Why are you a good fit? Can sign NDA and work for hire rights on the actual concept/prototype. I'm open to hourly or fixed bid let me know . The idea is that at the end I have a working physical prototype.

Hi, I'm looking for a US based EE to design and prototype and simple circuit with a 4 digit 7 segment LCD display, a hall-effect sensor, and a pushbutton. The circuit should have a footprint no larger than 90mm x 45mm x 12mm The basic operation is that clicking the button increments the count while the state of the hall effect sensor determines how the count is incremented. There is more detail than that, but those are the basics. Please quote both the development cost and ballpark cost and lead time for making 20 units. Final deliverables need to include layout files for production as well as all firmware.
