I have an Autometer Speedometer that puts out a square wave at 5 volts DC. The faster the speed, the higher the hertz. I need a circuit that will trigger at 175 hertz and above and turn off below 175 hertz. It has to be powered by a 12 volt DC source. Would prefer if possible that the hertz setting can be made variable. I need it to put out a negitive trigger for a relay.

I have an audio source (portable cd player) connected to an amplifier through the AUX In. At the push of a button (preferably wireless) I need to have a device interrupt the current audio source by lowering its volume and instead feed a pre-recorded message to the AUX In to be played on the Receiver. The message is no longer than 30 seconds. This is similar to PA systems where when the announcers starts to talk the music is lowered. These are my constraint: 1. The solution has to be an existing device (or multiple devices) that integrates with my current setup. No computer solution. 2. I need to be able to easily record a new announcement on the device. 3. The cost should be less than $200.

I have a Bluetooth Low-Energy beacon project that is based on a CSR1010. I have the beacon code working but the beacon function is currently broadcast (transmit) only. Now I need to add the ability to detect (receive) when another paired beacon comes into range. When another beacon comes into range it will trigger a PIO output. Need someone with lots of experience programming CSR BLE chips.

Hi there, I'd like someone to build a 12v circuit for me that provides a 60hz sinewave oscillator. We'll later take this sinewave oscillator and use some MOSFET transistors to amplify the signals. We'll then connect a transformer to create a 12v-to-120v inverter capable of 5000 watts. The power source of the inverter will be a 12VDC deep cycle battery rated at 110ah @ 20 hours. The battery will also be connected to an alternator providing 100 amps at 14.3 VDC. If you can build the oscillator, that's all we need for now - but if you think you can build the whole project, then great - please indicate that in your proposal. I look forward to your proposal! Please include the word "inverter" in your proposal so that I know you read this project description. Here's some reference material:   [obscured]  /watch?v=VDi_uFSr3w0   [obscured]  /wp/?p=415 I'd like the inverter to be as close to pure sinewave as possible, but that objective will be limit...

I need you to make me a circuit (tangible, not just diagram) that will connect between 2 of my solar batteries (12 V). When the first one dies, I need it to switch to the other (backup) battery automatically and keep them relayed / connected so that the solar panel will begin recharging the first one (that died). Please let me know any info you need and how much you will make me this circuit for. May need 2-3 of these circuits, so please quote me per circuit made. Thanks so much!!

Hello, I'm looking for some guidance on a project we want to start. It involved the creation of a Bluetooth device that communicates with a phone app. Both need to be created. Is this something you can do? If so, do you do the EE for Bluetooth, the app development or both? Please advise. I would like to learn more about how your process works. Thank you.

Tegu, a maker of wooden magnetic building block toys (  [obscured]  ), is seeking a prototype engineer to help demonstrate and evaluate RFID technologies for a 'smart-shelf' retail inventory management application. The individual should be experienced and an passionate builder. Tegu would like to explore using PCB modules to construct a RFID reader and data networking capable prototype. Tegu's scope of work includes: - hardware evaluation - physical assembly of hardware - coding and RFID middle-ware solutions - data integration into Tegu's existing enterprise systems - testing and evaluation of the prototype. Applicants with prior experience in rapid prototyping and/or RFID solutions are a major plus. Should the prototype and working relationship be successful, Tegu envisions significant follow-on work possible. Tegu is ready to move to a prototype ASAP! Please enquirer for more details or questions on the project! Thank you

We have designed a shunt regulator circuit for a system and need to know if the design is electrically sound before shipping it off to be manufactured. The circuit schematic is attached below, as is our 2-layer circuit board layout. Also attached is the EagleCAD file for our schematic. The circuit has one input, one output, two adjustable trim potentiometers, and an output LED. The input is a 24 volt source. The output is this same 24 volt source, but switched through a normally-open transistor-MOSFET arrangement. This will be connected to a relay. The first trim potentiometer (RV1 on the schematic) adjusts this voltage. The second potentiometer (RV2 on the schematic) adjusts the hysteresis voltage of the comparator. The shunt regulator circuit is a simple voltage comparator, with hysteresis. The input voltage is first reduced by the first trimpot, then compared to a 5v reference voltage. If the post-trimpot voltage is greater than the 5v reference voltage, the output (24v) is swi...

I am looking for a circuit designer (and possibly builder) who can use Broadlink Home Automation DNA to create an item that work through the Broadlink RM PRO to call lighting scenes. Broadlink is an existing semi-open source home automation system manufactured in China. The electronics seem quite high quality and they have created an aspect to their system called Broadlink DNA. This is a way that almost any other electrical appliance can communicate with the Broadlink hubs. Broadlink is a way of storing and centralizing remote commands for various light switches, TV and airconditioning systems. By using an APP on your mobile the system calls the stored commands and broadcasts them. What I am looking to do is create a unit that has a set of buttons that can be programmed through the APP to call scenes from the Broadlink. The scenes are a series of commands that activate a set of devices. This could be a "arrive home scene" where all the lights in a living area are switched ...
