I own a pond and lake management business. I have an idea for an aeration product that I feel could revolutionize the industry and make a great deal of money if it can be manufactured at a certain price point. I have spoken with multiple aeration companies who have expressed interest in seeing the prototype, but I personally have no background in engineering and need help designing said prototype.

Create 99 dxf files using the names in spreadsheet and the shape described in drawing. Create a system that would allow for automatic or semi-automatic creation of files. Provide files as individual DXFs in a zip file. Develop a long term model for creating DXFs from names. Any code developed for system will be property of infrared tools. It is our intention to use the developer for the long term file creation; however, to minimize risk we require the code.

We are working on a specialized closed loop system that uses r600 refrigerant and are in need of some documentation for the permit process. It will be installed by a certified HVAC company, using an application specific metering pump that we have selected, an evaporator of our own design, and an Alloy Products pressure rated vessel. The pump and r600 storage are remote to the building, and the configuration of the evaporator will change from one location to the next. Normal operating pressure on the low side is up to 30 psi, and up to 100 on the high side. We would like a US based engineer(ing firm) to review the specifications of our equipment and create an operational manual including diagrams, safety features, installation procedures, safety protocols, repair procedures, etc. This manual should include everything an HVAC tech , plumber, or electrician would need to install the system. It should also be everything a city or fire official would need to understand how and why i...

We manufacturer a botanical extraction system that uses hydrocarbon solvents and mechanical recovery of solvents. We purchased a pump that is designed for our application but the manufacturer cannot provide the necessary training for the pump. We would like to hire an engineer to create a manual that can show how the pump should be installed, used, and maintained. We will need suggestions for ensuring safe operation, as this pump is designed to be used with flammable and explosive gases. We can provide photos and details about materials and design criteria. Basics are on the info plate including flow rate. It has a dial on one end to adjust the flow rate from 15 liters/hour to 20 liters/hour which we believe is a measure of the amount of solvent condensed.

A bicycle manufacturing company has identified a market opportunity for a high quality, low weight bicycle suitable for use by children aged between 6 and 8 years old. The target market is considered to be in the region of 25,000 parts per year and the companies usual product life cycle is 8 to 10 years. The Engineering Design department has been tasked with investigating the redesign of four, key components using alternative, polymer based, materials. This coursework will be used to assess competency in two key areas. You will receive two separate grades for your work, one for the Computer Aided Design and development content and the other for the material and manufacturing process (and related design considerations) section. The two grades will contribute towards the coursework elements of assessment for Computer Aided Design & Manufacture and Materials and Manufacturing Technology respectively. One of the components illustrated below will be issued to you. Students are requi...

I have a smoke distribution system that I need mathmatical and CFD modeling. First I'd like to optomize the smoker. There will be wood buring in the smoker (for cooking) and I need to retain as much heat as possible with the panels. I'm using insulated panels made of sheet metal, insulation and an aluminum back plate. Then the smoke will leave the smoker through a duct and I need the smoke to cool to about 200 degrees farenheit when it enters the cooker. Some tasks include: CFD analysis of the smoker. Mathmatical model to optimize design the ducts including length, diameter and any directional changes. I'm looking to pay hourly at an agreed rate.

I am inventing a piece of gym equipment to exercise lower abs. It is an ab mat you can place and secure onto a work out bench (benefit will be to allow user to extend lower abs beyond 180 degrees improving the workout). If you are not familiar what an ab mat is, I enclosed 3 photos of an ab mat. I would want the dimensions to be 38 cm length x 50 cm width x 10 cm height. The trick is how to secure it to bench (it can't move side to side and the sides can't move up and down). Workout benches have a metal rod that runs down the bottom of the bench (see enclosed photos - esp portion circled in red in second enclosed photo of bench). So the question is how the ab mat could bind to the bench and remain secure? I am thinking so some type of screw system? Job will work like this: first step will be coming up with 3 potential solutions to securing this equipment to a workout bench. If one of those solutions works then the second step will be to design a simple CAD of the whole product. The...

Hello, I am looking for someone who can design the mechanical aspects of a wrist worn electronic so that those files can be used to manufacture several prototypes. Most industrial design is complete. It should be a fairly quick job and quite easy since I have everything dimensioned and some .DWGs. Most everything is thought out and solid but of course I'm open to suggestions. I need all of this done in two weeks. What's involved: Elastomers CNC milled metallic components Molds 3d files to be used for prototype purposes

I have created an assembly that houses an iris mechanism. The assembly simply needs refining to ensure the iris closes fully when the handle is turn 90 degrees, and is fully opened when the handle is returned. There is flexibility in the depth of the assembly but the dimensional constraints is the 140mm x 140mm square shape. That is the only constraint all other dimensions are able to be amended. An experienced engineer require for a prompt turnaround. A simple edit parameter task for an experience mechanical designer Creo / Pro engineer designers only apply 24hr turnaround required. A high voltage tether of known materials (copper, fiber, insulator, strength member, polyester jacket) and known voltage (2kv) and current (~1 amp) is to be wound on a drum of known material (carbon fiber) and subjected to high temperatures (130F) in direct sunlight. The tether will have multiple wraps around the drum. Perform thermal analysis estimate to show approximately what size drum (diameter and width) is needed for the system to tend to thermal equilibrium with the power conductor below a specified temperature along with estimates of temperatures of other components in the system. Assumptions and safety factors can be used in order to reduce cost and working time. Thermal analysis of future system components may be required if freelancer is able.
