Hello, We are manufacturers of structural steel buildings. We are in the process of designing a roof shape to best ventilate our buildings. [obscured] The building in question is one for what is called a freestall barn. this is where dairy cattle are house prior to milking. There is a similar roof structure on our website under projects [obscured] /projects.html We want to design the roof in such a way that it draws the most air possible. On the attached sketch we have drawn a "concept" that shows the shape we were thinking of. We would like someone to look at this design and runs some calculations to ensure that it will draw/ventilate efficiently. Due to the mass number of dairy cows that will be under the structure, ventilation is absolutely essential. we are looking for design comments, improvements and airflow calculations.
