Hello, I have a manual machine where you need to rotate a leaver for it to turn and i need to convert it to a motor driven machine. We have a small sensor to be protected inside a cylindrical housing and that will be periodically deployed. The sensor is a small laser scanner and the entire cylindrical housing can rotate which will allow the sensor to do a 3D map of its surroundings. Your task is to design the deployment mechanism for the sensor and which will have two actions. 1. the translation of some kind of hatch or cover, and 2. the deployment of the sensor itself The whole mechanism is to be powered hydraulically probably, but not necessarily, using a bi-directional hydraulic cylinder. Your task will be to design the mechanism producing a virtual 3D model of its operation using Autodesk Inventor. On acceptance of the job we will send the CAD drawings of the space available, the housing cylinder and the sensor as well as more detailed specifications.
