The reusable pallet wrap should ideally be: 1) Made from a very heavy textile material, or more ideally a light plastic material that cannot stretch and can be of relative side-ward load capacity, whilst keeping the goods being transported dry and at less risk of becoming damaged by moisture. 2) The method of attaching the wrap to the goods shown in the sketch is through using woven textile/polyester material which has a velcro backside, this is then brought through a 'U' ring, and attached over itself. In my opinion, a better option may be to use small ratchet straps, in a relatively similar fashion. 3 strapping location should be ideal on the side. Across the top there must also be a way of tightening the wrap, and the same sort of ratchet system should be used. The ratchet system interested me because it would allow the user to tighten and compact the goods on the pallet closer together to ensure goods are not moving during transit.
