Hello Elancers I am looking for a multifunctional backpack design taken through to working prototype stage for my client. I would like to work closely with someone who has worked on a similar product and can offer solid advice regarding materials, features etc. My client's budget is limited so please take this into consideration. Must have - Been a member of Elance.com for a minimum of 6 months - Completed at least 10 jobs with positive feedback - Examples of previous work (Visuals etc.) - Fluent in English If you hit these points and would like to flex your design skills by taking an everyday product in a new direction, let's talk! I like to speak via Skype before I hire people to make sure we're a match. All the best, Luke

Repost under company account of previous job posting: Hello, I need someone to some modifications to A20-Olinuxino-Lime-2-4G pcb from olimex. Board can be found at: [obscured] /Products/OLinuXino/A20/A20-OLinuXIno-LIME2-4GB/open-source-hardware And board files and schematic can be found at [obscured] /OLIMEX/OLINUXINO/tree/master/HARDWARE/A20-OLinuXino-LIME2 Basically I need the board profile made slightly larger so that all required connectors are on one side. Removal of battery port, UEXT, SATA, and GPIO headers. Addition of a few leds, and a fixed rs232 port with a certain configuration, and ideally getting a real time clock in there would be nice with battery backup. I also require the final files to be in gerber format for production with board house.

Design/engineering assistance is needed for a simple system including dual/parallel small linear track with a spanning (between the two tracks) rotating arm design. The ideal freelancer will be able to 1) provide at least 2 alternate manufacture/ assembly-friendly designs to accomplish the product concept in an 2) provide source information for inexpensive off-shelf parts (for somebody in the US to source) for most or all of the required components and 3) CAD images of the different components. At least one design should be simple and mechanical in function without the requirement of MEM systems. Priority should be given to an inexpensive, easy to produce and part-source design. The linear motion should take <2 seconds to advance and return to starting position and the arm rotation will be of a slow rotation. Neither will require substantial force. The arm should complete it's full rotation before at the very beginning portion of the linear movement. The system needs to ...

Hi, I'm looking for 3D models that I can use to build a prototype. There will be about 4 pieces for the first concept I believe (I included a rough mockup, and put an 'x' on the parts I'm not interested in at this time). Its actually for a 'smart' product in the end, but this phase 1 concept will not include the electronics, just the housing. Once I get that right, I'll move into working with the electronics. Also, if it matters, product weight is not an issue. If anything I'd prefer it to be heavier than lighter. I'm looking for someone who has lots of experience in 3D modeling, specifically for parts being 3d printed, but would prefer someone who also understand materials as well as means & methods for production. Please be as descriptive as you can in your proposal, as I have never done anything like this before.
