I am currently using Quickbooks Pro 2012. I have recently switched to Quickbooks 2015 for Mac. I only want to transfer certain info from the old file to the new file i'm creating in Mac. Customer List Vendor List Chart of Accounts Item List 2015 Invoices 2015 Transactions 205 Deposits Once the new file has been created. Please provide instructions on how to import all of the new information into QB 2015 for Mac.

This is my 4th attempt to find a reliable person to take care of ongoing bookeeping tasks for 2 solo proprietorship DBAs. Both use Quickbooks and task include basic ongoing management. Nothing special, just need a reliable person. The last 3 people I hired, starterd great and then just decided to stop working great, not sure why. It is a few hours a week job, 2 to 4 hours. I recently started a real estate flipping business and have spent very little time optimizing the organizational structure for accounting and tax purposes. I need to import my transactions on Quickbook. I did 2 files, 1st I did it manually according to the instructions available on Quickbook support and 2nd I downloaded a plugin on excel that automatically converts an excel into iif file ready to import on Quickbook. But when I import the file it says file imported but I could not find the transaction anywhere on my Quickbook. I have attached the file I created manually and the file I generated from the IIF Transaction Creator both in excel and iif. I would like to understand what I am doing wrong and if the file can be corrected so that Quickbook accept the transactions. The file contains only a test transaction, we want to automate this process so that we can export transactions from a Point of Sale to iif file and then import it on Quickbook. I tried to import the file on a Quick Accountant Edition 2010 but the file should be compatible with other Quickbook version as well.
