I am in need of someone immediately who would like to help with some Finance and Accounting projects over the next several weeks. These will range in size from 2-3 hours at a time to 10-20. So the bid would reflect and be ongoing accordingly. Most of the principles will be semi-basic in nature but I need you to have good ideas for them and be able to explain the processes as well. The first and primary need is going to be for a Valuation of a Company project. Selecting a US publicly traded company and gathering income statements, balance sheet, and cash statement flows for the previous ten years and forecasting for the next ten. It is in its initial stages presently and the first task would be to get ideas for it and how to forecast it. - This will soon need to be including such things as EBIT Tax Rate Capital Expenditures Depreciation Change in Working Capital Valuation Steps, Value of Firm.

Two people purchased a property together, on a mortgage. They paid differing amounts each month towards mortgage payments. One party would now like to purchase the other person's equity from the property so that he can take 100% ownership of it and the mortgage. We need someone's help in working out what the purchase price should be. You'll be given mortgage statements and bank statements spanning 2 years. I currently keep the books for my small business in Excel which is working well enough, but I know the correct way to do it is in Quickbooks. My accountant maintained Quickbooks in the background and I am looking to outsource so I can stop duplicating the work in excel. I will give you a QBB desktop quickbooks file that has all of the transactions starting with the initiation of the company and you will update it each month with the transactions. I can provide them in csv or quickbooks file format via a bank download. This will be an ongoing job. Thank you.

Small retail company currently using QB online I have a small retail business that purchases used construction machinery overseas and then imports for resale in the US. In the process of preparing for the customer we have to first ship unit to our location, pay port fees, truck overland, purchase various parts (example: new seat, seals, headlight, battery) and then the item is placed for sale. I run a wedding officiating business and have for the past 10 years contracted with my part time "staff". However, my attorney advises me that in the state where I'm based (Colorado) the Dept of Labor would consider my relationship with these folks to be more "employee" than contractors. I don't have a clue about where to start to attempt this conversion and I have no idea about the general legal logistics of having employees versus contractors. All I've done so far is email for Workman's Comp quotes. And to top it all off, my business covers three states. On the "Template" tab, I have some KPI's at the top-right of the sheet. All 5 of them seems to be off based on the data in the sheet. I am not great at Excel or accounting, so if something seems wrong, it most likely is. I am needing someone good at Accounting and understanding Excel Formula to make the KPI data correct. 2nd issue is the template is changing values mostly based on "Change in Market Value" column. What I didn't think about when setting this up, is that any Deposit/Withdrawal would be double-counted in the "Total Value of All Accounts" KPI in the top. The reason is, not only am I counting deposits at the bottom of the sheet in the Deposits/Withdrawal area, but also that same deposit will reflect by adding/subtracting from the "Change in Market Value" of the account I'm adding/removing (because the column "Balance (Market Value)" would change as well. What I would need is a way to not have this area be double-counted. ...
