A little background...... I own a business that buys SFR real estate for the purposes of renovating and re-selling. Each property has a loan against it with corresponding "interest only" payment and a set amount of funds in escrow allocated for renovations. My estimator uses an excel-based form to develop an estimated cost of renovations that is broken down into a specific set of categories. This estimate is completed on every property. I have a small real estate company. I buy, rehab, and sell homes. I have one employee starting shortly. I need someone to do our books properly. We plan on doing only 6-8 homes per year. We will have payroll for one person, income for myself, and the rest will be contractors we hire for jobs. Our one employee will be paid weekly. I have 2014 Company Income Tax paperwork that has not been filed. We have a couple of business filing on the same tax ID. I just filed for 2553 S-corp. I'm a very small business Ebay powerseller. My new S-corp filing status will start for 2015.
