My company is looking to recruit a consultant to serve on an ongoing basis to consult on tax matters for small businesses, help with paperwork related to starting new businesses (mainly LLCs), work with the IRS on setting up payment plans for clients, work with states on getting payroll taxes or other tax matters sorted and also help file year end returns both federal and state, personal and business taxes. I am looking for someone who can be responsive (24 hour turn around time or less) or even better be available by phone during business hours. Some of the work will be client facing and other times it will be to help internal employees.
Fixed Price: Less than $500

We run a foundation primary school that receives funds from the local council on a regular basis. The school also has various after-school activities which generates a regular income stream. In addition to this, the school is currently allowing a private ltd company to use a school-owned building in the grounds to operate a nursery. Any profits made by the ltd. company(nursery) are donated wholly to the school each year. The school now wants to formalize a rental/lease agreement with the nursery through a contract, possibly charging a regular rental/leasing fee for the use of the premises/facilities. Advice Required: Please detail the advantages/risks of the above agreement in terms of tax liability and any material guidelines that may be useful. We are trying to understand what the most ideal relationship is between the nursery and the school from a tax perspective.
