Healthcare analytics is the system of tools, techniques, and people required to consistently and reliably generate accurate, validated, and trustworthy business and clinical insight. There is evidence that healthcare analytics are helping to improve quality of healthcare and patient outcomes, but we need to be able to cut through vendor hype to understand how healthcare organizations are really using analytics to achieve these quality and performance goals. We are looking for two real-life, compelling case studies on how healthcare analytics have been used successfully in healthcare to improve the quality, safety, and/or efficiency of patient care in a clinical setting. These case studies will comprise the bulk of a special report on healthcare analytics to be published on a major website that extensively covers the topic.
