My Ubuntu guest VM for VirtualBox seems to be broken as I've tried([with help](  [obscured]  /r/techsupport/comments/37f3qb/cant_login_to_my_ubuntu_virtual_machine_in/crm9qre)) to log into it but got stuck in a [login loop](  [obscured]  /questions/223501/ubuntu-gets-stuck-in-a-login-loop). I resorted to recovering my home directory by following this [video](  [obscured]  /watch?v=PdWKizG2bxk) and made it to [2:52](  [obscured]  /PdWKizG2bxk?t=2m52s) without a problem until it gave me [this error message](  [obscured]  /zxoYGHE) when I tried mounting the broken disk a few times with my standard password. I tried my only other password I use with Ubuntu and it gave me [this error message](  [obscured]  /e7sqnsr) before the disk disappeared from the file explorer. What am I doing wrong? Is the disk so badly corrupted that it can't be recovered? Thx in advance for any assistance.
