We are looking for an accountant, consultant, business coach that we would like to work closely over a long time period. We would like this person or firm to be our one stop adviser when making accounting and tax related business decisions. We don't expect there to be any strict deadlines and mostly being able to find a time slot to work or communicate within as much as a week notice will be fine. There may be times when we might need few hours of work done within a week, but in general after one year we would expect us to have worked on average few hours per month.

I have a portfolio of forward contracts for commodities, in which I commit to purchase fixed quantities at fixed prices over a defined term of 1 to 10 years. The contracts are not options, and I physically settle the contracts, so I account for them under normal purchase and sale accounting. Our lender has asked us to prepare a fair value calculation for the contracts. Because of the illiquidity of the markets, the banks said they expect this to be a "Level 3" fair value calculation, which gives me flexibility to use proprietary models and assumptions. Hi, We are looking for an accountant with experience in SaaS accounting to help us run our monthly accounts, VAT payments and end of year accounts. The business is a startup software as a service (SaaS) venture with <10 employees. We have 1 year's worth of historic accounts that were kept ourselves which will also need to be looked at and amended / corrected. Currently we are using Clearbooks platform, however are open to moving to Zero if SaaS accounting is possible on Clearbooks - by SaaS accounting we mean spreading the received upfront yearly payment over the subsequent 12 months rather than accounting it all at once.
