I am a Chartered Accountant with almost 20 years experience in Canadian and US income taxes looking to build a base of several freelancers to help me prepare Canadian and US tax returns for my clients. I have enough work to keep one freelancer busy full time in March and April and close to full time in January, February, May and June. I would have sporadic amounts of work available from July to December. The US work is personal only - typically Canadian citizens with US rental properties (1040NR's) and US citizens living in Canada (1040's) with a few Canadians working part time in the US (1040NR's). Some of these clients I only do the US return for them - these could be done by a US tax preparer only however many of them also require a Canadian return so I will need a freelancer capable of doing both Canadian and US personal tax returns for those returns.
