We recently bought a 1946 old house. The wooden flooring in the main room is bowed and a portion of the brickwall on the chimney has a slight break (possibly from the sagging of the foundation and perhaps subsequently caused the bowing of the floor). We would like you to assess the structural integrity of the foundation and the old home and incorporate the design of a new building adjacent to this house that we are planning to build. We would need to know what fixes with smart and cost effective proposals that need to be done to code and if its worth to save this old building while incorporating the new adjacent house, or simply just dismantle it and build altogether a new one. We prefer to keep the old house and renovate it if costs is not prohibitive. We are here in the suburbs of Tampa so prefer freelancers within the area or the State. I don't know if other elancers from out of state can work on this--if you can let me know how you would do it.
