We have a Filemaker database, something begun in 3, and updated a few times over the years. At the present time there are 5 people using the database, all of us using Macs and most of us are using filemaker 11. We need some help with a few things and so, let me give you a short idea of what we're thinking: We sell chewing gum and a few other items via distributors, retail stores, and the internet 80% of our sales are with distributors, 10% with retail and 10% online. We use our database to keep track of invoicing and payments for distributors and retail, but not online sales. We then manually transfer the bookkeeping info to our accounting program. At the present time this is MYOB. We also use the database as our primary rolodex, keeping track of all kinds of contacts, not just sales contacts.
