I have 2014 Company Income Tax paperwork that has not been filed. We have a couple of business filing on the same tax ID. I own a small business (2 Member Partnership LLC) that ran a Kickstarter campaign finishing in late November 2014. Payment for the campaign was made to us in the amount of 100k+ shortly thereafter. Business expenses through the end of the 2014 year were minimal. The larger expenses to produce the goods were not incurred until well into 2015. I'm looking to offset all of the earnings into the 2015 calender year using accrual accounting. This was the best way to handle this according to my previous accountant however I am not a tax expert. Due to unforeseen circumstances we can no longer work with this accountant or rely on their work.
