I want you to use 3D design software to improve an existing 3D logo: The shape, derived from a cube with rounded edges, needs to be digitised (an existing povray model may be imported for this), then rendered and shaded to match the original design, while simplifying the surface and the reflections, and making them at the same time look more plastic. The logo should look very plastic and glossy on screen, but also very clear and discernible if printed, say, on a business card. I think you should be strong 3D modelling and animation, but just as good in conventional drawing and design. The attachment shows the current state of affairs: The original raytracing and the posterized version for letterhead and printing. I want you to produce - the 3D wireframe (wavefront obj or other standard format), - the rendered file, - and a simplified drawing (svg/ps/pdf) similar to what you see in the attachment. I am very much looking forward to seeing your talent!
