I am running a sendmail mail server on Ubuntu 12.04 I need an admin to examine the current installation and insure we are performing best practices, and have adequate security measures in place. We have a popular add-in for Microsoft Word (Windows and Mac) called Annotate (see 11trees.com). The Mac version runs off a VBA template and the Windows version uses VSTO/.NET. Both give the user the ability to edit a table of values that are then used to dynamically update buttons, and their onaction results. We call this table of values the 'Comment Library.' The Mac version uses a simple Word document as the data table (pulling values into an array). The Windows version uses a SQL Server CE dataset. Users prefer the Word document approach because it is easier to work with. The goals of the project are threefold: 1) Host the Word document in the cloud - on our website ideally but probably in Dropbox or Google Drive - but allow the user to work offline. 2) Use the hosted data document to allow the user to work from multiple machines (home/school is common), so that any changes to the Comment Library can be easily leveraged.
