We run a web-based English language test ( [obscured] -aes.co.uk/checkpoint). The test runs in Mozilla Firefox. At the moment, our customers use the test themselves but they would also like individual candidates at remote locations around the world to be able to log on and take the test. The test requires some security - i.e. we need to verify the candidate's identity so that the test results are genuine. It is not currently possible to do this if testing individuals at multiple locations with no direct oversight. We would like a software application to run on any desktop, laptop or Mac which would ? Periodically take images of the candidate using the candidate's webcam while they are doing the test; ? Attach a date and time stamp to them; and ? Store them on a dedicated server for subsequent retrieval. Ultimately, the images would appear on a report which we would submit to the customer once testing is complete.
