Hello, I am an electronic circuit designer needing thermal assistance with a heating element. I have designed of the electronic control circuitry, but the thermal end is out of my expertise. My goal is to first calculate the power required, second - source manufacturing for the element. The project is a coffee mug (think mobile travelers mug). The requirements are to maintain beverage at 175F. Not heat the beverage from ambient, the beverage will all ready be 175 when poured into the cup. I need real math to calculate how much power (wattage) is necessary to maintain this temperature. Again, not heat, need the lowest power maintain. Final element will be running off of 3.7VDC I am looking for math not assumptions, or guess. If you have any manufacturing contacts / suggestion this would also be helpful. Thank you

I need someone to design a quadcopter with an autopilot function. The autopilot needs to be a program that keeps the copter flying around a device connected by bluetooth (or an RFID tag), stabilize it if knocked, and land safely when the battery is low. The copter will be in a small 70mm in diameter "shell" that will be designed by another individual in conjunction with the development of the electronics. Along with the copter, I will need an RGB LED light that will change colors based upon the gyroscopic sensor, temperature sensor, and accelerameter. I would also like a microphone to be built in so the copter and LED can interact with music being played. I will need a prototype made and the ability to manufacture in the future.

I'm designing a product that requires a handheld controller which will regulate variable temperature to a wearable product. Think of a temperature controller on a heating pad. I will need this designed to my specs based on the heating element and application. There will need to be a small PCB with temperature safety cutoffs contained in a small handheld device. This a 110/120V A/C-powered system. I prefer a designer who can do both electrical design and has experience with plastic molding and/or can create a 3D printed case for the electronics. Electrical components will need to be able to pass any and all safety standards and certifications.

I require a bespoke KVM device, with the following features: 1) In-line functionality - The device must sit between a computer and its KVM peripherals, so that a local user can make full use of the system, as well as a remote user. 2) Video support - The device should support D-SUB VGA, DVI-D and HDMI connectors. 3) Keyboard/Mouse support - USB support only required. 4) Storage - The remote user must be able to provide files to the computer. This should be implemented by uploading files to the device, which then presents a USB storage device to the computer. This should include the presentation of an ISO image as a USB CD/DVD drive. 5) Connectivity - The device should have at least an Ethernet connection, but ideally include a 3G/GPRS module for use in the event of wired network outage. The primary non-functional requirement is minimum cost per unit for production. I would need to see at least a high level design of the hardware and software before I could accept a proposal. Su...

This posting is for the delivery of a schematic and PCB design and layout of a 40W, 110V, 60Hz sine wave inverter. This includes design documentation and all files (GERBER, etc) required to manufacture and modify the design in the future. The incoming power will be from four of the attached lithium-ion batteries, arranged in a 4S configuration, which are already regulated to a 4.1V maximum charge by another circuit. Therefore, maximum input for the inverter circuit will be 16.4Vdc. Circuit size should be no more than 3x2x1" (LxWxH), and the smaller the better in all cases. Height is of highest concern, but overall size should be as compact as possible. The inverter will be in an IP56 minimum container, so heat generation is an issue to be mindful of - heatsinking to the outside is possible, but a design that generates little-to-no heat is ideal, and should be possible with this low of wattage. Audible noise should be non-existent - transformer selection should be of high quali...

Hello, Firstly, please only respond with an actual response. I will not respond to generic responses. Having said that... I have a new project that I would like to find someone to work on. It is a small, simple project, but if we work well together there will be more projects to follow. I have attached Eagle schematics, so hopefully you can work with those. The project is for a device that attaches probes on the positive and gnd wire of a circuit. There is a voltage across the wires that is monitored by another part of the circuit. If the voltage is disturbed, the monitor detects it and sets off an alarm. My device reads the voltage and outputs it in parallel with the monitored voltage. This allows the sensor with the monitored voltage to be removed without alarming the circuit. I have attached a diagram to help explain. I have attached the schematic that I have so far. I will explain it more and then tell you what I need... Pin 23 takes the +V of the circuit through a voltage di...

We are looking for a circuit board designer to layout boards from schematic, parts list (BOM) and dimensional requirements. These designs consist of surface mount components with some through-hole parts. Generally the board designs are 4 layer (which includes internal power and ground planes). We need the design in CADSoft EaglePCB format. Layout would include final CAM files for all layers. These designs are mixed signal. This work would be on-going for new products as they are developed.

Our company is seeking a freelancer to design and build a data logging board that will be used in an exposed outdoor environment. The device should be housed in a weather tight enclosure. The enclosure will need to have a bulkhead connection in order to allow a water hose to be connected for pressure sensor readings. The device should also be capable of storing readings from a pressure sensor which detects water pressure. The readings would ideally be stored onto an SD memory card for later retrieval. The device should have an external ON / OFF switch. The device can be made using an off-the-shelf device such as an arduino if the cost is less than designing a custom printed circuit board. In summary, the device should have the following operating characteristics: -- Weather tight enclosure suitable for use in an outdoor environment -- Bulkhead connection for water pressure connection -- External ON / OFF switch -- Pressure Sensor capable of being in continuous contact with ordin...
