REQUIREMENTS (also see the attachment) 1. We have a small table surface of 4 inch by 2 inch in L & B, and 1-2 cms in thickness 2. When a ball hits/thrown on the 'in -zone', GREEN LED should be lit on the long extended unit (metal). If the ball hits in between the in-zone and the out-zone, AMBER LED should be lit. If the ball hits anywhere outside of the 'in-zone' RED LED should lit. 3. The data captured should be sent via Bluetooth to a smartphone app (the app will indicate where EXACTLY ON THE SURFACE did the ball hit. (the unit will only show different colored LED to indicate hit or miss) 4. Operated by removable coin cell battery, preferably in the extended unit Sensors (and other units/PCB) can be placed INSIDE the table surface or as an attachment BEHIND the surface table (we would like it ideally inside the table) 5. The ball hitting the surface could be made of leather, rubber or resin. All no metallic 6. The unit will be coin battery operated - no exception 7. No ex...

Hello, I am an electronic circuit designer needing thermal assistance with a heating element. I have designed of the electronic control circuitry, but the thermal end is out of my expertise. My goal is to first calculate the power required, second - source manufacturing for the element. The project is a coffee mug (think mobile travelers mug). The requirements are to maintain beverage at 175F. Not heat the beverage from ambient, the beverage will all ready be 175 when poured into the cup. I need real math to calculate how much power (wattage) is necessary to maintain this temperature. Again, not heat, need the lowest power maintain. Final element will be running off of 3.7VDC I am looking for math not assumptions, or guess. If you have any manufacturing contacts / suggestion this would also be helpful. Thank you

This job is to design and lay out a pcb that will verify thermal performance of a design in progress. The pcb shape and chip locations of the current design are attached in a DXF. Your job is to place resistors in the locations of the chips so that the power draw is approximately correct. Please confirm your design package can open the DXF before bidding. This will be a 2 layer board. The load resistors will go on top with vias under them. There will be copper pours on the back. Chips 2, 6, 6b and 9 should all have pours between 1 and 1.5 square inches. Other pours should be 2 times the length and 2 times the width of the chip. Do not coat these thermal pours with soldermask. You can choose 1 board voltage (either 24V, 12V, or 5V). Power and ground will enter through pads on the edge of the pcb. Please include vias in these pads. Use resistors from Digikey that are in stock. Resistor loads should be within 10% of the values listed below. The units of the DXF are mils. There are some ...

Hello, I need a proof of concept program developed on an Atmel xMega chip with TFT touch screen. The POC will read an input string and continually scroll the contents across the display in a structured format as explained below. In addition, there are some simple touch screen actions required. See attachment for requirements with images. Requirements: Initiate #9 logo on startup, display for 5 seconds Switch to main screen, which contains rotating display of text based messages The main screen contains three callout bubbles, with related message content and image Example screen: Screen needs to scroll content every 5 seconds, with top message being removed and replaced by middle message, middle message replaced by bottom message, and bottom message being replaced by a new message. Every 5 seconds, a new message is added and an older one is dropped off. For example, after 5 seconds, the example screen from above will now look like ? The screen will need to continu...

I need a program for an Arduino board so that it can generate 4 types of PWM. 1. Sinusoidal pulse width modulation - SPWM 2. Selected harmonic elimination - SHE PWM 3. Space Vector PWM - SVPWM 4. Hysteresis band current control PWM The user must be able to select the type of PWM that he wants and the frequency (1-200 Hz). The frequency will not be changed with a potensiometer because of the noise but from from the serial screen. The system is intented to work with a SINGLE-phase inverter. The Arduino board that will be selected will be anyone with an ATMega micropcessor. The final deliverable should be the arduino code files with extensive comment documentation.

In need of an electrical engineer to design a preamp for a dynamic microphone (using a DIY board off of EBay is fine, audio fidelity is not a major priority), as well as a volume control for a set of headphones. The project enclosure should have the following: 1. A 4-pin XLR connector for headset (2-wire mic, 2-wire headphone) 2. A 6-pin XLR connector for the following: a. 2-wire incoming audio from external source b. 2-wire outgoing audio to external source c. 2-wire for 12V DC 3. A volume dial for headphone volume control 4. A push-to-talk button to un-mute the mic 5. A beltclip 6. No external mic controls are needed. A set-and-forget it internal pot can be utilized. This is for a custom intercom beltpack with specific needs.

We are looking for consultant that can help us do some fairly basic electronic design work. We have budget for this project and are ready to start immediately. Essentially we want to take an existing reference design for WiFi enabled smart plug (   [obscured]  /tool/TIDC-SMARTPLUG-WIFI ) and perform the following modifications: 1) We would like to have two (2) completely independently controlled and monitored egress power ports. Per the documentation, the relay, meterology and microcontroller per egress port is "scalable" so this looks to be a fairly simple task. We would ask for help both with the hardware design as well as the software modifications to be able to control/monitor the second port similar to the primary (note: I am linux software engineer with 20 years of experience, but I have never written hardware drivers). 2) We need to add an electronic or mechanical switch: the board will be housed in a lockable chassis, I just need some notification when the ch...

I want to create a circuit, but my understanding of electronic is limited so I need some help in selecting the good components and making a proper circuit. Think of 2 circuits: Circuit one is a 120V switch with an extra input and output that serve to connect the 2nd circuit. The 2nd circuit is simple voltage modifier, like a simple key to a door lock. I want a 120V & 20amps** circuit to close if (and only if) the following 2 conditions are met: - From the 120V, the circuit output a low voltage (as in: safe to touch, Ie.: 2V, low amp) A 2nd circuit can take that voltage, modify it, and return the modified voltage the an input of the first circuit. If the voltage is confirmed by the first circuit as having been modified as expected, this first condition is meet. - A Reed switch is closed. Along with the circuit design, I will need a BOM list of all required components. Note: This contract may lead up to proper PCB design in the future.
