Hi there, I have a situation where my client needs to migrate a large amount of data from one system to another. The migration of the records is not an issue however the migration of the attachments is a problem. Attachments have been encrypted and the application that we are using is quite old so there is no way of decrypting the documents. The only resolution we can see here is to create a solution where we write a macro that emulates a human opening and saving each attachment one at a time. We can set the process and if this takes a week or a month, thats fine. Volume Of Data --------------------- 10,000 claims 0 to 100 attachments per claim (some claims have none and some claims will have up to 100) Workflow ------------ * we would export a file that would contain all the claim numbers * the solution would read each claim number and process it * the file would be updated at the end of each claim with the result and some data (something like: starttime, endtime, qty of attachment...
