My client would like some who is strong in employment law to review his 11 page employment agreement, advise him if a tort was committed, and give a few examples of cases and how much was won in these cases. It is an Arizona agreement He was hired for a 3-year contract. He left his stable job near San Antonio Texas making the same salary, but was making more in Texas because of no state income tax. He not only gave up stability, but also a part of his pension and disability insurance. His termination clause with his old company was 6 months. He was called about 3 months after signing his agreement with the new company and was told that they had hired enough people for this new location, and that he was not needed. The problem is that he had already given notice, and the former employer had already filled the position he was leaving.
