We are in need of some advice to navigate insurance and workers comp for a small business in Florida. We need to understand how to lower premiums for insurance and workers comp while still covering our business. The business is industrial inspections, painting, cleaning for areas that can not be reached through conventional means (ie ladders, man lifts, etc). We will be utilizing ropes access to reach these areas. We are looking for advice on proper insurance, or altering our business structure to be more accepting of the insurance companies and try to lower the stigma of "high risk". For interested parties, please view   [obscured]   to understand what the business offers. Thank you

We have a Maui business (couple) that is an LLC. We need help with recording or documenting a our draw or owner distribution for last year (we are applying for a refi and the loan is in wife's name due of a ch 7 by hubby). So, we need the corporate papers to reflect this. We also need to have you check them to be sure all is right with them, and help us file our HI annual returns. (We didn't even know we needed to do this.) Perhaps act as our registered agent. I have seen the sites that offer canned services but am unsure if they are the right solution. Second thing we want to do is set-up another LLC for a new business we are starting.

One of our portfolio businesses recently had a complaint filed with the Attorney General of Michigan by a disgruntled homeowner who refused to pay her final installment for services already rendered. After reviewing the situation you'll see that her justification for not paying lacks merit and is based on frustration rather than real contractual obligations. This is something that needs to be addressed, however our focus is not in the area of litigation. We're looking for someone who can craft up a compelling response to the Attorney General based on the information that we supply to them, and also provide some insight into how we should handle the situation moving forward. The scenario isn't very dynamic and thus will require very little research on your end if any. The business is a local landscaping company and the complaint was filed by a residential client. Thanks and good luck!

I am a seller on amazon, trying to sell my own product - PhenObestin 37.5. This product (supplement) was classified by someone at Amazon as a prescription drug when it isn't. I believe the decision makers reside in India and it is sometimes impossible to explain to them otherwise. Yes, product is resembling look of the prescription drug, but certainly not. I created a case on Amazon seller central, supplied necessary paperwork - certificate of analysis, lab contacts, list of ingredients and asked Amazon to look into this issue - nobody is bothering to reply. In the mean time, there plenty of similar products being sold at Amazon without any restrictions. At this point I consider their actions as discrimination and would like to find an attorney to write them a l letter and mail official letter to Amazon legal team. I am not trying to sue Amazon, I just want their side explanation about why my product was wrongly classified and why nobody bothers to look at my paperwork. I wi...

Case in a nutshell - A classic case of taking advantage of founder business inexperience to acquire an unexcavated goldmine at minimum cost. "Company" was incorporated as a Delaware C-Corporation in 2012 with three co-founders (initially owning 31%, 17% and 17% of company shares). Jeff, a successful businessman, was brought in by the founders to help set up the company (10% share). Jeff brought in Bruce to run the company (for 10% + salary). As CEO, Bruce mismanaged the company and squandered investor funds (approximately $3.7M). Sitting on the board for nearly two years, Jeff supported him solidly. The founders finally acted to remove Bruce (March 2014)through expanding the board. After making some noises and attacking the founders, Jeff voted to remove Bruce. About two months later, Jeff left the board (spearheading an exodus of board members) and suddenly "discovered" that the company was nearly insolvent. Jeff portrayed the founders as wrong doers and cham...
