Purpose: The intent of the controller is to divert surplus electricity generated from solar panels to the hot water system. The program will poll a Flukso controller (flukso json -   [obscured]  /files/flm02/manual.pdf) on the local network to obtain the household usage and generation (I can provide an example output of the callup). It will also obtain usage data from a local current clamp sensor (as Flukso consumption includes both hot water system and other household usage) connected to the hot water system and DS18B sensor connected at the hot water system. THIS SHOULD BE DONE FAIRLY LIVE: EVERY 10 secs If solar > household + current clamp Then PIN Out = HIGH // to drive solid state relay Else PIN Out = LOW // disconnect hws THIS SHOULD BE DONE FAIRLY SAY EVERY 10MIN: If temp < 50 Then PIN Out = HIGH // to drive solid state relay regardless of excess production //until temperature gets back up to say 60 deg ALSO: Upload HWS sensor temp and Curre...

We are looking for a talented FPGA programmer to help us implement a low noise (<10nV/(rootHz)) lock-in amplifier for heterodyne detection of sideband signals. Carrier frequencies range from 0.3 to 1.5MHz. The lock-in amplifier must have the ability to generate signals at specified frequencies and demodulate signals at the sum or difference of two frequencies (FM/heterodyne detection). Your job will be to develop a working prototype that does the following: 1) Takes in signals via a high speed, 16bit ADC 2) Generates a sine wave with programmable amplitude (ranging from 0 to 5V) and frequency, f2 = (1 to 1000Hz) 3) Demodulates the signals at two frequencies f1+f2, f1+2f2. f1 is determined from the DAC input. f2 is the frequency generated in step #2. 4) Outputs the RMS amplitude of the two demodulated signals via a low noise, 16bit DAC. We have an ADC and FPGA eval board already chosen, part #'s AD9268 and HSC-ADC-EVALCZ from Analog. You will need to help us choose the DAC and fi...

SkySilk, Inc. is a tech start-up based in Los Angeles, and being a new company we need a logo! We'd like our logo to contain the following: - A Clean, Simple, Bright, Techy/Modern feel - Use of cloud(s) with the name SkySilk - Blue, Electric Blue, Grey, Black & White is what we have in mind, but if you think other colors will work better than roll with them. The logo should be eye-catching and inviting, and should illustrate to our potential clients who we are. Again, Clouds, Sky, Silk, Connection, Network, Storage are all words to use for inspiration. If you're interested, please respond with a sample sketch (doesn't have to be in-depth) showing us what you have in mind. Please also include a priced bid for this project. Good luck and thank you! (Attached is a logo we are currently playing with...we would like something DIFFERENT from this logo to give you an idea). Logo type: Abstract

General Description I have a small project to develop my existing R code into a desktop web application that will allow users to log in to view the business intelligence. I currently work in R Studio. I also have a MYSQL database hosted on AWS which has the core data. The data is then processed in code that I have written, and then viewed via ggplot2 in R. Currently I have a Business Requirement/User Journey document of about ten pages, about an equivalent amount of R code, and lucid chart screenshots of what the final product should look like. I am the Subject Matter Expert for this project and the subject area is the wholesale electric utility markets in the USA. I currently work with a MySQL DBA, however I need someone who is better at R programming than I am and in particular is familiar with graphing in ggplot. Further I need someone who can help turn the core code, which is in MYSQL and R into a small desktop application allowing user interaction so that subscription customers ...
